Job summary

Our client, a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space, seeks a Sales Engineer to join the team focused on technical selling within service provider markets. This remote US-based role supports a sales organization evaluating and adopting testing and measurement solutions.

The position combines customer-facing engineering support with sales enablement, technical demonstrations, and solution design, partnering with internal stakeholders to strengthen product acceptance and accelerate

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Applications, Solutions, Support Engineering or related role.
• Hands-on fiber networks and testing standards.
• Strong knowledge of Ethernet and transport protocols.
• Degree in Engineering, Technology, Telecommunications, or Optics.
• Certifications such as FOA, FBA, RCDD, DCDC, CCNA are advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel at least 50%.

Responsibilities

• Support the sales team by promoting testing equipment in service provider markets.
• Provide technical support at trade shows and customer demos.
• Develop sales training programs with management.
• Ensure customers are trained on testing solutions during field evaluations.
• Manage technical aspects of lab evaluations for product approval.
• Respond to RFPs with coordination of technical requirements.
• Maintain demo materials and provide ongoing product support.
• Create custom solutions and test automation for customer needs.
• Educate customers through technology seminars on testing solutions.
• Foster strong customer relationships to support product acceptance.
