Job summary

SelectQuote is hiring for a Sales Development Advisor to join the Qualifications Team. The SDA is an unlicensed, outbound sales role responsible for contacting prospects, generating interest in SelectQuote's products, and transferring qualified prospects to licensed agents.

This is a high-volume, metrics-driven position with paid training and a base salary plus bonus opportunity. Candidates without an active insurance license will be considered for the role; successful performers may pursue a

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of telesales, inside sales, phone sales, or comparable sales experience required.
• Proven ability to work in a high-volume, metrics-driven or commission-based sales environment preferred.
• Demonstrated success working toward quotas, KPIs, conversion goals, or other measurable sales objectives.
• Strong objection-handling and closing skills.

Responsibilities

• Make high-volume outbound calls to prospective customers, with activity of up to 800 calls per day.
• Generate interest and create meaningful engagement with prospective customers.
• Identify customer needs and qualify prospects for transfer to a licensed insurance agent.
• Handle and overcome objections, stalls, hesitation, and rejection throughout the sales conversation.
• Meet or exceed monthly transfer and other performance goals.
