Job summary

Intel Corporation in Canada seeks a Sales Application Engineer to be the primary technical interface between Intel, customers, and internal teams. You will deliver pre-sales and post-sales expertise, develop tailored solutions, and drive growth in telecom and networking contexts.

The role requires deep telecom product knowledge, strong communication, and global cross-functional collaboration. Remote Canada work model with occasional site meetings; travel as needed.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline; MS or PhD a plus.
• 5-10 years of experience in Sales Engineering, Application Engineering, Field Applications Engineering, or Technical Sales.
• Experience supporting customers in the telecommunications or networking industry.
• Deep technical understanding of telecom RAN, cloud RAN, IP routing, and data center technologies.
• Excellent English communication and collaboration with sales and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical support resource for Intel’s sales account.
• Collaborate with the Sales team to identify customer needs and develop customized technical solutions.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and customer proposals.
• Evaluate customer specifications and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Product Management, and Manufacturing to ensure technical feasibility and successful project execution.
• Support RFQs, quotations, technical documentation, and product selection activities.
• Manage technical discussions with customer engineering teams and provide timely responses to technical inquiries.
