Job summary

Seagull Software seeks a detail‑oriented Sales Analyst to support the cadence of the sales organization. You will build and maintain reporting, perform recurring and ad hoc analysis, and improve processes to deliver reliable insights across subscriptions and licenses.

You will partner with Sales, Finance, Marketing, Customer Success, and Operations, ensuring data quality, dashboards, and actionable recommendations that drive revenue and efficiency in a fast‑paced global SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in sales operations, revenue operations, business analytics, FP&A, or a related analytical role; Subscription software experience is required.
• Strong analytical skills, with experience working with sales, pipelines, bookings, revenue, or customer data.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience building repeatable models and analyses.
• Working knowledge of Salesforce or another CRM, including reports, dashboards, and core data structures.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English is required.
• Experience with business intelligence or data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) is highly desired
• Ability to translate business questions into structured analysis and communicate findings clearly.
• Identify and implement process improvements that increase operational efficiency and productivity, including the practical use of AI tools.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and ownership of recurring deliverables.
• Comfort working through ambiguity, learning new tools, and managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Collaborative working style and willingness to perform hands‑on data, reporting, documentation, and process‑building work.
• Be adaptable, take ownership of deliverables, and build practical, scalable solutions that get results.

Responsibilities

• Support forecasting, pipeline analysis, territory analysis, and planning models.
• Prepare recurring sales reports, meeting materials, and trackers.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Success, and Operations.
• Document definitions, workflows, decisions, and action items.
• Monitor CRM data quality and coordinate corrections with process owners.
• Analyze pipeline, bookings, revenue, retention, and customer data for trends and drivers.
• Provide BI requirements to build and improve recurring reports and dashboards.
• Summarize findings in concise presentations for stakeholders.
• Track KPI metrics, analyze variances, and propose improvements.
• Map and improve sales/customer success workflows and standardize processes.
• Support day‑to‑day use of CRM tools and automate recurring reports.
