Job summary

The American Red Cross seeks an experienced Release Train Engineer to lead SAFe practices across multiple teams. You will promote systems thinking, manage risk, and drive continuous improvement within the ART, while mentoring Scrum Masters and coordinating with product managers and stakeholders.

The role is 100% remote with east coast hours, requiring strong communication and governance skills, plus travel up to 25% for PI planning events and related activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• SAFe SPC certification required; SAFe SM or RTE preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience in RTE/SM/SAFe coaching.
• Experience transitioning agile teams in SAFe environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize value flow through the Agile Release Train.
• Promote systems thinking, support planning, and drive improvements.
• Provide leadership to volunteers and mentor Scrum Masters.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and applicable regulations.
• Remote work with east coast schedule and travel up to 25% domestically.
