Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking an experienced Agile Coach/Release Train Engineer to lead and optimize the value flow through the Agile Release Train. This remote US-based role requires SAFe SPC certification, 5+ years in RTE/SM roles, and 3+ years of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• SAFe SPC certification required or equivalent; SM or RTE certs preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience in RTE, SM, SAFe Coach or equivalent.
• Experience transitioning new agile teams in a SAFe environment.
• 3 years of supervisory or management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead ART cadence including Syncs, Backlog Refinement, System Demos, Inspect & Adapt, and PI Planning (remote or in-person).
• Collaborate with Portfolio Management, Product Managers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, System Architect, Stakeholders, and customers as needed.
• Report on ART metrics and PI progress and impediments.
• Mentor SMs and onboard new SMs.
• Partner with Agile CoE to develop and reinforce agile standards and SAFe trainings.
• Build high-performing SMs and establish mission for SMs.
• Manage a team including hiring, training, and performance management.
