Job summary

GoTo is seeking a Financial Analyst, SaaS Retention Specialist, to own renewal forecasting, retention analysis, and data-driven insights. You will partner with cross-functional teams to inform financial planning and drive actionable recommendations for retention improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree a plus.
• Expert level financial modeling and data manipulation.
• Exceptionally self-motivated, detail-oriented, and intellectually curious, with ability to handle ambiguity and high workload.
• Advanced strategic thinking and problem-solving, comfortable with abstract concepts and fragmented data.
• Ability to work effectively within teams and across departments, communicating complex concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Forecast end-to-end renewal forecasting; build and validate churn, renewal, and retention models.
• Analyze retention metrics for designated SaaS lines and provide actionable insights to leaders.
• Conduct variance analysis to identify root causes and deliver recommendations impacting strategy.
• Reconcile retention data weekly/monthly and ensure accuracy of reporting across large datasets.
