Job summary

Steer is seeking an Account Executive to expand revenue within our existing customer base for Steer CRM and phones product. This remote role requires owning the full sales cycle, from outbound prospecting through closing, with a focus on upgrades and long-term client success.

You will thrive in a high-volume outbound environment, build trust with small business owners, and manage a proactive pipeline to meet revenue targets.

Qualifications

• Proven experience owning and closing full-cycle sales opportunities in an expansion or account-growth context.
• Ability to identify and close upgrades within an existing customer base.
• Strong discovery, presentation, objection-handling and closing skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive account expansion by proactively contacting Steer customers to close CRM and phones product upgrades.
• Own the full sales cycle from outreach to discovery, demos, proposals, negotiations and closing.
• Apply consultative selling to align Steer features with shop goals and workflows.
• Maintain an accurate, healthy pipeline with forecasting in the CRM.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to ensure post-sale success.
