Job summary

SMX is seeking a Mid Level S/4HANA SAP ABAP Developer to support a Greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementation for a large government contract. This role is remote supporting a Washington, DC based customer and requires a Public Trust clearance.

You will translate user requirements into technical designs and develop ABAP solutions, while mentoring others and promoting best practices. A background check and DHS Public Trust clearance are required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years SAP ABAP development experience for mid-level role.
• Experience with S/4HANA and backend/SAP integration.
• Hands-on ABAP development across Reports, RFCs, Forms, BAPIs, Enhancements, BADIs, Exits, Conversions.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into Technical Design Specifications and ABAP solutions.
• Develop ABAP solutions aligned to designs and maintainable code.
• Mentor other developers and conduct code reviews.
