SMX is seeking a Mid Level S/4HANA SAP ABAP Developer to support a Greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementation for a large government contract. The role is remote, supporting a Washington, DC based customer and requires a Public Trust clearance.

The candidate will translate requirements into technical designs, develop ABAP solutions, and may mentor other developers while ensuring maintainable code and effective system integration. Strong ABAP, S/4HANA, and web services skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years SAP ABAP development for mid-level.
• Experience with S/4HANA implementation.
• Hands-on ABAP development and HANA CDS Views.
• Experience with web services, proxies, and APIs.
• Public Trust clearance
• Ability to self-learn UI technologies

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into technical design specs and develop ABAP solutions.
• Lead or mentor other developers; conduct code reviews.
