Job summary

SMX is seeking a Mid Level S/4HANA SAP ABAP Developer to support an SAP S/4HANA Greenfield implementation project for a large government contract. The role is remote supporting a Washington, DC based customer and requires a Public Trust clearance.

You will translate requirements into technical designs, develop ABAP solutions, and may mentor other developers while ensuring maintainable code and thorough reviews. Citizenship and background check are required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years SAP ABAP development for mid-level role.
• Experience with S/4HANA and ABAP technologies.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori and BTP.
• Experience with web services, proxies, and APIs for system integration.
• Public Trust clearance and US citizenship requirements.

Responsibilities

• Translate user requirements into Technical Design Specifications and develop ABAP solutions.
• Lead or mentor other developers, promote maintainable development practices, and conduct code reviews.
