Job summary

SMX is seeking a Mid Level S/4HANA SAP ABAP Developer to support a SAP S/4HANA Greenfield implementation project for a large government contract. The role is remote supporting a Washington, DC based customer and requires a Public Trust clearance.

As a mid-level developer you will participate in the full lifecycle from design to deployment, translate requirements into technical designs, and mentor others. Strong ABAP skills and Fiori/BTP experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of SAP ABAP development experience for mid-level.
• Experience with S/4HANA.
• Hands-on integration of SAP and non-SAP applications.
• ABAP development with HANA CDS views.
• Experience implementing SAP Fiori and SAP BTP.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into technical design specifications and develop ABAP solutions.
• Lead or mentor other developers and promote maintainable development practices.
• Perform code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
