Job summary

Acuren is seeking a Rope Access Mechanical Tech II for U.S. Northwest callout work. Remote schedule with emphasis in the PNW region. Preference given to candidates with NDT and mechanical trades certifications.

Role requires performing rope access duties safely at height, planning systems, maintaining gear, and reporting results. Travel up to 50% and availability by Oct 1, 2026 are expected.

Qualifications

• SPRAT/IRATA Level 2 rope access certification or ability to obtain.
• Minimum 1000 IRATA hours or 500 SPRAT hours within 12 months.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified NDT in any level is preferred.
• NACE or NCCER certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced rope access work at heights following IRATA/SPRAT Level 2 standards.
• Plan and implement rope access systems for various work scenarios.
• Maintain rope access gear and report safety concerns.
• Demonstrate Rope Access Level 2 skills and knowledge.
• Examine objects under inspection with proper safety procedures.
• Conduct inspections and write detailed reports.
• Assist in rigging and rescue plans under supervision.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary trades.
• Identify hazards and communicate to supervisors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
