Job summary

Acuren is seeking experienced Rope Access Mechanical Tech II for the U.S. Northwest region callout work. Remote work arrangement with assignments across Commerce City, Denver area and broader NW region; emphasis on safety, NDT preference, and complex inspections.

Role requires Level 2 rope access certification, high alignment with IRATA/SPRAT standards, and the ability to travel up to 50% with occasional long shifts. Strong teamwork and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Current SPRAT/IRATA Level 2 certification or ability to obtain it.
• Minimum documented hours: IRATA 1000 or SPRAT 500 in 12 months.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• NDT certification of any level is preferred.
• NACE or NCCER certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform rope access at heights following IRATA/SPRAT Level 2 standards.
• Plan and implement rope access systems for various work scenarios.
• Maintain equipment and report safety concerns.
• Demonstrate Level 2 rope access skills and knowledge.
• Assist in inspections and prepare detailed reports.
• Support rigging and rescue plans under supervision.
• Collaborate with cross-functional trade specialists.
• Identify hazards and communicate risks to senior tech.
• Work overtime as required and travel up to 50%.
• Adhere to safety and quality procedures at all times.
