Job summary

Acuren is seeking experienced Rope Access Mechanical Techs Level I or II to support callout work across the U.S. Northwest Region, with emphasis in the PNW. Preference for NDT or mechanical trades certifications.

This intermediate role performs Level I/II Rope Access duties safely and efficiently under the guidance of the Level III Technician, with opportunities to engage in rigging, rescue planning, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Requires SPRAT/IRATA Level 2 certification or ability to obtain.
• Minimum 1000 documented hours IRATA or 500 documented hours SPRAT.
• High school diploma or equivalent; NDT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced rope access work at heights using established rope access techniques and systems.
• Plan and implement rope access systems for various work scenarios.
• Maintain rope access equipment and report any safety concerns.
• Demonstrate skills and knowledge of a Rope Access Technician Level 2.
• Establish techniques for examination of objects under inspection with strict safety adherence.
• Conduct inspections and complete detailed work reports.
• Assist in rigging and rescue plans under supervision of Rope Access Level 3 Tech.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary trade specialists.
• Identify hazards and communicate them to Rope Access Level III.
