Job summary

Acuren is seeking experienced Rope Access Mechanical Technicians to support our operations across the U.S. Northwest Region, with emphasis in the PNW.

The role requires planning and implementing rope access systems, performing inspections at heights, and maintaining safety and rigging standards. Ideal candidates hold SPRAT/IRATA Level 2 or the ability to obtain, have a strong safety mindset, and be prepared for travel up to 50% with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Must hold SPRAT/IRATA Level 2 certification or ability to obtain
• Minimum documented hours for IRATA or SPRAT certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified NDT (ANY LEVEL)
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures
• Demonstrated ability to interpret inspection results
• Experience with NDT equipment
• NACE or NCCER certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced rope access work at heights using established rope access techniques and systems.
• Plan and implement rope access systems for various work scenarios.
• Maintain rope access equipment and report safety concerns.
• Demonstrate skills and knowledge of a Rope Access Technician Level 2.
• Examine objects under inspection per safety regulations.
• Conduct specialized inspections and complete reports.
• Assist in rigging and rescue plans under supervision of Level 3.
• Collaborate with multi-discipline trades.
• Identify hazards and inform Level III tech.
• Other duties as assigned
