Job summary

MRO Corporation seeks a Remote ROI Specialist to support healthcare clients by processing requests for patient records in a HIPAA-compliant, fully remote role. You will review requests, securely access data from EHR systems, and respond to inquiries via phone, email, and secure messages.

Responsibilities include logging and indexing requests, uploading records, and adhering to privacy and security policies while working independently in a home office. Prior HIM data-entry experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience entering data into computer systems.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote ROI support to healthcare clients by processing ROI requests for patient records.
• Review requestor information to determine records to release in accordance with HIPAA.
• Access patient data from client EHR systems and other electronic sources securely.
• Respond to phone, email, and secure messages regarding ROI issues.
• Log and index requests in Exchange Manager; upload records as needed.
• Comply with MRO privacy, security policies, and remote work guidelines.
• Participate in virtual meetings and trainings as required.
