MRO Corporation is seeking a Remote ROI Specialist to provide remote support for healthcare clients by processing ROI requests for patient records. The role requires HIPAA-compliant handling of information and secure access to client EHR systems.

This fully remote position emphasizes accurate data logging, timely responses to inquiries, and adherence to privacy and security policies. A high school diploma is required, with prior ROI experience considered a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior ROI experience in a physician's office or HIM department is a plus.
• Experience entering data into computer systems.
• Proficiency with computer applications and web-based systems.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet production goals.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process Release of Information requests for patient medical records.
• Review requester information to determine records to release per HIPAA guidelines.
• Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and secure messages.
• Log ROI requests into Exchange Manager.
• Upload and index electronic medical records into Exchange Manager.
• Comply with HIPAA, privacy, and security requirements and remote work policies.
• Participate in virtual meetings and trainings using video tools.
• Maintain a dedicated, private workspace and secure access methods.
• Work remotely with reliable internet and MRO-approved equipment.
