MRO Corporation is seeking a Remote ROI Specialist to provide remote support for healthcare clients by processing Release of Information requests for patient records. The role requires HIPAA-compliant handling, secure access to EHR data, and timely response to requester inquiries.

The position is fully remote, with a private workspace requirement and VPN/MFA security. Prior ROI experience is a plus; medical terminology knowledge is beneficial.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior ROI experience in a physician's office or HIM department is a plus.
• One+ years of data entry experience.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Proficiency with computer applications and web-based systems.

Responsabilités

• Process ROI requests for patient medical records in compliance with HIPAA.
• Determine records to release by reviewing requester information and matching data in EHR systems.
• Respond to calls, emails, and secure messages from requesters.
• Log requests into Exchange Manager and upload/index electronic records.
• Adhere to MRO privacy, security, and remote-work policies; participate in virtual meetings and trainings.
