MRO Corporation in the United States is seeking a Remote ROI Specialist to process release of information requests for patient medical records in a HIPAA-compliant remote environment.

This fully remote role requires strong data entry, secure communication, and ability to work independently to meet production goals while maintaining privacy and security.

You will access client EHR systems, ensure secure delivery of requested records, and collaborate with healthcare clients from a home office setup.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior ROI exposure in a physician's office or HIM department is a plus.
• Proficiency with computer applications and web-based systems; data entry experience.

Responsibilities

• Determine records to be released by reviewing requestor information per HIPAA guidelines.
• Respond to phone calls, emails, and secure messages about ROI issues.
• Process requests from physician offices and securely transmit information (e.g., eFax).
• Log requests into Exchange Manager and upload/index records.
• Follow HIPAA privacy and security policies and remote-work rules.
