Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Robotics Solutions Engineer for a 100% remote role in the United States. You will design, build, and integrate software for autonomous robots, spanning low-level sensor integration to high-level perception and control, in production projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of robotics software engineering experience.
• Strong programming in C++ and Python.
• Hands-on ROS or ROS 2 in production projects.
• Experience with perception, localization, motion planning, or control.
• Familiarity with sensor fusion and Kalman/particle filters.
• Experience with simulation environments (Gazebo, Isaac Sim, MuJoCo).
• Strong debugging in real-time and concurrent systems.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Experience supporting field tests and hardware integration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and integrate software systems powering autonomous robots and robotic platforms.
• Work across the full robotics software stack from sensor integration to high-level perception and control.
• Collaborate with product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to translate requirements.
• Raise the bar through code review, design review, and mentorship of junior engineers.
