BairesDev is seeking a Robotics Systems Engineer to design and integrate complex robotic systems for real-world applications. You’ll bridge hardware and software, develop autonomous behaviors, and optimize performance in simulated and physical environments.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in robotics software, strong C++/Python skills, ROS/ROS2 experience, and familiarity with Gazebo or NVIDIA Isaac Sim. This 100% remote role offers flexible hours and compensation in USD or local currency.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on robotics or hardware-integrated environments.
Proven expertise in developing robotics systems using C++ and Python.
Hands-on experience with ROS or ROS2 for navigation, motion planning, and perception.

Responsibilities

Architect and integrate end-to-end robotics systems, bridging hardware interfaces and high-level software logic.
Develop and optimize navigation and perception pipelines using ROS/ROS2 to enhance autonomous capabilities.
Create high-fidelity simulations in Gazebo or NVIDIA Isaac Sim to validate motion planning and system behaviors.
Design and implement real-time software components for complex kinematics and trajectory execution.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define system requirements, safety standards, and integration protocols.
Troubleshoot and refine robotic performance through rigorous testing in simulated and physical environments.
