Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Robotics Software Engineer to design, build, and integrate software for autonomous robots across the full stack—from sensor integration to high‑level perception and planning.

You will collaborate with product, design, engineering, and operations to translate complex requirements into robust software solutions, mentor junior engineers, and ship production‑grade code in a fast‑paced, remote environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Five or more years of robotics software engineering experience.
• Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
• Hands-on experience with ROS or ROS 2 in production projects.
• Solid experience with at least one of perception, localization, motion planning, or control.
• Familiarity with sensor fusion and Kalman/particle filter techniques.
• Experience with simulation environments (Gazebo, Isaac Sim, MuJoCo).
• Strong debugging skills in real-time and concurrent systems.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Experience supporting field tests and hardware integration.
