Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Robotics Software Engineer to design, build, and integrate software powering autonomous robots and robotic platforms. You will work across the full robotics stack, from low-level sensor integration and motion planning to high-level perception and behavior systems.

The ideal candidate brings strong software engineering fundamentals, hands-on ROS/ROS2 experience, and a track record of delivering production-quality robotics software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years robotics software engineering experience.
• Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
• Hands-on experience with ROS or ROS 2 in production projects.
• Familiarity with sensor fusion and Kalman/particle filter techniques.
• Experience with simulation environments (Gazebo, Isaac Sim, MuJoCo).
• Strong debugging skills in real-time and concurrent systems.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Experience supporting field tests and hardware integration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and integrate software for autonomous robots and platforms.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into robust solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code/design reviews.
