Job summary

Qualifications

  • Production-grade robotics software experience required.
  • Strong C++ and Python in real-time robotics development.
  • Hands-on ROS/ROS2 debugging and distributed systems.
  • Foundations in kinematics, dynamics, and controls.
  • Experience with SLAM, motion planning, and simulation workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and ship robotics features from design through deployment, including autonomy logic, tooling, and observability.
  • Build and maintain ROS/ROS2 packages, interfaces, and launch configurations for multi-sensor stacks.
  • Implement and tune SLAM, localization, and navigation pipelines using sensor fusion and state estimation.
  • Design motion planning and control loops (e.g., PID/MPC) for stable and safe robot movement.
  • Integrate hardware drivers and embedded interfaces for cameras, encoders, IMUs, and motor controllers.
  • Create simulation and test harnesses (SIL/HIL) to validate fixes and reduce regressions.
  • Define benchmarks and regression tests for accuracy, latency, and safety constraints.
  • Collaborate remotely with QA, operations, and field teams to diagnose incidents and improve reliability.
