Job summary

Mosaic Life Care seeks a Payment Validation Analyst to ensure accurate payor reimbursements. You will analyze underpayments, correct fee schedules, and support Epic-based revenue integrity initiatives across hospital financial operations.

This role emphasizes CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10 coding knowledge, contract management, and collaboration with the Revenue Integrity team to optimize payments and reduce denials. Remote work is available for Florida residents where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum five years in healthcare finance including reimbursement, charge master, coding and related areas.
• In-depth knowledge of CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10 coding and Medicare reimbursement.
• Experience with Epic Revenue Integrity modules or similar systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze contractual underpayments and resolve daily encounters in Epic WQs.
• Investigate price/contract discrepancies and coordinate fee schedule corrections.
• Lead rebill projects to recoup underpayments.
• Research non-covered/denied charges and assist with appeals.
