Job summary

SGA Dental Partners is seeking a Revenue Cycle Analyst to support reporting, analytics, and data integrity across the revenue cycle. You will extract data from practice management systems, validate outputs, and help standardize KPI definitions to enable data-driven decisions.

You will collaborate with the BI team, finance, and operations to develop dashboards in Power BI, audit data against source systems, and ensure accuracy while identifying gaps for improvement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, revenue cycle operations, or healthcare/dental analytics.
• Strong understanding of revenue cycle workflows and KPIs.
• Experience with practice management systems (Denticon, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental).
• Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Extracts and compiles data from practice management systems to support reporting needs.
• Pulls ad hoc and recurring reports for Revenue Cycle leadership, Finance, and Operations.
• Defines KPI requirements and performance tracking methodologies.
• Supports design, development, and refinement of dashboards and reporting outputs in Power BI.
• Validates Power BI reports against source PMS data for accuracy and consistency.
• Identifies data discrepancies and works cross-functionally to resolve issues.
• Proposes enhancements to reporting to improve visibility into revenue cycle performance.
• Maintains documentation on reporting logic, data sources, and metric definitions.
• Monitors data quality and integrity across systems and escalates issues impacting reporting.
