Job summary

SGA Dental Partners is seeking a Revenue Cycle Analyst to support reporting, analytics, and data integrity across the revenue cycle. You will extract data from practice management systems, validate outputs, and help standardize KPI definitions to enable data-driven decisions.

You will collaborate with Revenue Cycle leadership, Finance, and IT to design dashboards in Power BI, monitor data quality, and respond to ad hoc requests, ensuring accuracy across all systems and reports.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in data analysis, reporting, revenue cycle operations, or related healthcare/dental analytics.
• Strong understanding of revenue cycle workflows and KPIs.
• Experience with practice management systems such as Denticon, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, and/or Open Dental.
• Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data manipulation).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail with data accuracy and integrity.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance/Data Analytics or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Extracts and compiles data from PMS systems to support reporting needs.
• Pulls ad hoc and recurring reports to support leadership and operations.
• Define reporting needs, KPIs, and tracking methodologies with leadership.
• Collaborate with Power BI and analytics teams to design dashboards.
• Validate Power BI outputs against source data for accuracy.
• Identify data gaps and resolve discrepancies across systems.
• Standardize KPI definitions and reporting methodologies.
• Maintain documentation of reporting logic, data sources, and metrics.
• Monitor data quality and escalate issues impacting reporting.
• Support analysis of revenue cycle performance trends and presentations.
• Work with IT on data initiatives and reporting enhancements.
• Promote data-driven decision-making across the organization.
