Job summary

SGA Dental Partners is seeking a Revenue Cycle Analyst to support reporting, analytics, and data integrity across the revenue cycle function. You will extract data from PMS, validate outputs, and develop standardized metrics to enable data-driven decisions.

You will collaborate with Revenue Cycle leadership and the Business Intelligence team to design dashboards, validate data, and maintain reporting accuracy across systems. Remote-friendly with several U.S. states eligible for remote work.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, revenue cycle operations, or related healthcare/dental analytics roles.
• Strong understanding of revenue cycle workflows and key performance metrics.
• Experience with practice management systems (Denticon, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental).
• Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data manipulation).
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• College degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Extracts data from PMSs to support operational and leadership reporting.
• Pulls ad hoc and recurring reports for Revenue Cycle leadership, Finance, and Operations.
• Define reporting needs, KPI requirements, and performance tracking methodologies with leadership.
• Collaborate with Power BI and analytics teams to design and refine dashboards.
• Validate Power BI reports against source data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Identify discrepancies between reporting systems and source data and resolve issues.
• Standardize KPI definitions and reporting methodologies across teams.
• Document reporting logic, data sources, and metric definitions.
• Monitor data quality and integrity across systems and escalate issues.
• Assist in data preparation for leadership presentations and reviews.
• Collaborate with IT on data-related initiatives and reporting enhancements.
• Promote data-driven decision making across the organization.
