Job summary

SGA Dental Partners is seeking a Revenue Cycle Analyst to support reporting, analytics, and data integrity across the revenue cycle function. You will extract data from PMS, validate outputs, and help standardize KPI definitions to enable data-driven decisions.

The role collaborates with the BI team to design dashboards, audit outputs, and improve visibility into revenue cycle performance. Remote work eligibility exists for multiple states, with a focus on accuracy and cross-functional

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, revenue cycle operations, or related healthcare/dental analytics roles.
• Strong understanding of revenue cycle workflows and key performance metrics preferred.
• Experience with practice management systems (Denticon, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental) preferred.
• Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vLookups, data manipulation).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to translate data into insights.

Responsibilities

• Extracts and compiles data from practice management systems to support operational and leadership reporting needs.
• Pulls ad hoc and recurring manual reports from PMS systems to support leadership, Finance, and Operations.
• Defines reporting needs, KPI requirements, and performance tracking methodologies with Revenue Cycle leadership.
• Supports design, development, and refinement of dashboards and reporting outputs with Power BI teams.
• Validates and audits Power BI reports against source data to ensure accuracy.
• Identifies discrepancies and collaborates cross-functionally to resolve issues.
• Standardizes KPI definitions and reporting methodologies across teams.
• Maintains documentation related to reporting logic, data sources, and metric definitions.
• Monitors data quality across systems and escalates data accuracy issues.
• Supports analysis of AR aging, collections, posting timing, and productivity trends.
• Prepares data for presentations and leadership reviews.
