Job summary

SGA Dental Partners is seeking a Revenue Cycle Analyst to support reporting, analytics, and data integrity across our revenue cycle function. You will extract data from PMS systems, validate outputs, and help standardize KPI definitions to drive data-driven decisions.

Collaborating with the BI team and Revenue Cycle leadership, you will develop dashboards in Power BI, audit reports against source data, and communicate insights to operational teams. Remote-friendly position in the United States.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in data analysis, reporting, or healthcare analytics.
• Strong understanding of revenue cycle workflows and KPIs.
• Experience with PMS such as Denticon, Dentrix, Eaglesoft or Open Dental.
• Proficient with Power BI or similar BI tools.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data manipulation).
• Attention to data accuracy and integrity.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance/Data Analytics or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Extracts and compiles data from practice management systems to support reporting needs.
• Pulls ad hoc and recurring reports for Revenue Cycle leadership, Finance, and Operations.
• Defines reporting needs, KPI requirements, and performance tracking methodologies.
• Collaborates with Power BI and analytics teams to design dashboards and outputs.
• Validates Power BI outputs against source PMS data for accuracy.
• Identifies data gaps and proposes reporting enhancements.
• Standardizes KPI definitions and reporting methodologies across teams.
• Prepares documentation on reporting logic, data sources, and metrics.
• Monitors data quality and escalates reporting issues as needed.
• Supports analysis of revenue cycle performance trends and presentations.
