Job summary

Guidant Financial is recruiting for a Retirement Plan Operations Specialist to join a fully remote team serving entrepreneurs nationwide. You will learn the full process of administering, testing, and reporting on 401(k) plans, growing from document review to handling basic plans with accelerated training.

You will review client documents, keep clients updated, and help with year-end reporting and 5500 filings.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of adjacent back-office financial operations experience.
• Experience with document review and transaction processing.
• Familiarity with 401(k) or IRA administration and year-end reporting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review client documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Prepare annual reporting information for clients.
• Assist with 401(k) testing and government filings (e.g., IRS Form 5500).
• Provide timely updates to clients on progress.
