Guidant Financial is seeking a Retirement Plan Operations Specialist to learn and administer 401(k) plans. You will review client documents, assist with year-end reporting, and help clients understand filings, including Form 5500.

This remote role offers accelerated training, hands-on experience, and the opportunity to advance within a thriving ESOP-focused company. As you progress, you’ll perform document review, testing and reporting using Excel and our filing software, while communicating

Qualifications

• Experience with document review and transaction processing.
• 1–5 years in adjacent back-office financial operations.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Direct retirement-plan operations experience is preferred.
• Experience with reconciliation is preferred.
• Degree in business or finance, or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of 401(k) plan structure, ROBS, and IRS/DOL regulations preferred.

Responsabilités

• Review client documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Work with clients to obtain information for annual reporting.
• Reconcile plans and manage rollovers using Excel and admin software.
• Perform 401(k) testing and reporting with filing software.
• Prepare IRS Form 5500 and government filings.
• Educate clients about 401(k) plan administration.
