Job summary

Thomson Reuters is seeking a Business Analyst focused on legal software renewals to own the end-to-end renewal process for a portfolio including Legal Tracker, HighQ, Exterro, OpenText, and Document Intelligence.

You will collaborate with Account Management and Customer Success teams to ensure timely renewals, craft competitive pricing, and manage notifications while refining processes for scale and efficiency. A bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years in renewals or related roles are expected.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in renewals, sales operations, contract management, or business analyst role in SaaS or legal tech.
• Familiarity with legal software platforms or enterprise software contracts is a strong plus.
• Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and contract management systems.
• Strong analytical skills for pricing models and renewal data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across levels.
• Proactive, ownership-driven and able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the full renewal lifecycle for a portfolio of legal software products.
• Prepare and deliver accurate, competitive pricing proposals for renewals.
• Proactively manage customer notification process for upcoming renewals.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Account Management, Account Specialists, and Customer Success Managers.
• Identify renewal risks and opportunities and communicate with internal stakeholders.
• Lead renewal negotiations using established playbooks and develop creative solutions.
