Job summary

Sedgwick seeks a part-time Housing Support Specialist to coordinate lease extensions and housing needs for displaced policyholders. You will maintain clear communication between insureds, adjusters, landlords, and vendors, ensuring timely extensions and uninterrupted housing in a high-volume, service-focused environment.

Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills, experience in leasing or property management, and bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two (2) years of experience in leasing, property management, customer service or account management. Previous experience in insurance, temporary housing, property management or real estate strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage lease extensions and ongoing housing support needs for displaced policyholders in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
• Maintain strong communication between insureds, adjusters, and landlords during relocations and extensions.
• Manage the full lease extension process including approvals from adjusters, updated lease terms with landlords and vendors, and communicating timelines to policyholders.
• Proactively monitor upcoming lease expirations to prevent service interruptions.
• Coordinate and resolve in-stay service requests including furniture exchanges and maintenance concerns.
• Collaborate with landlords, property managers, and vendors to execute service solutions and extension agreements.
• Investigate and resolve issues related to property conditions, damages, and vendor performance.
• Maintain financial and operational records, update client ledgers, and manage move-out coordination when applicable.
• Document all communication and actions in internal systems with accuracy and timeliness.
• Identify risks and elevate issues with urgency, maintaining a high-touch service model.
