Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Housing Support Specialist to coordinate and manage lease extensions and ongoing housing support for displaced policyholders. The role emphasizes empathetic customer service, vendor coordination, and meticulous lease management in a fast-paced setting.

You will maintain strong communication with insureds, adjusters, and landlords, handle multiple claims, and ensure uninterrupted housing with urgency and accountability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of leasing, property management, or customer service experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage lease extensions and housing support for displaced policyholders.
• Serve as main contact for adjusters and landlords during relocation and extensions.
• Monitor lease expirations and prevent service disruptions.
• Coordinate and resolve in-stay service requests (furniture exchanges, add-ons, maintenance).
• Collaborate with landlords, property managers, and vendors for timely solutions.
• Investigate property condition issues and vendor performance.
• Maintain financial and operational records and client ledgers.
• Document communications and updates in internal systems.
• Identify risks and escalate as needed to keep service levels.
