Job summary

Relocity, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Personal Host (Relocation Consultant) to guide relocating employees through every step of the move. The role is primarily remote (60-70%), with 30-40% in-person client support across the city.

You will coordinate moves, provide high-touch support, and ensure a smooth transition while aligning with flexible work policies. Ideal candidates bring deep local Seattle-area knowledge, exceptional interpersonal skills, and strong project-management abilities.

Qualifications

• Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
• At least 5 years residency in Seattle area with deep knowledge of rental market and education system.
• Own a reliable, registered 4-door vehicle with valid driver’s license for area tours and rental searches.
• Available to commit at least 20 hours per week to this role.
• Flexible and available to work weekends.
• Friendly, outgoing, customer-service oriented and problem-solving.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently.
• Relocation experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with relocating employees and understand their needs.
• Provide expert guidance on neighborhoods, transport, and local culture to help employees make informed decisions.
• Conduct housing and school research, including rental trends and school ratings.
• Assist with essential services such as DMV registration, banking setup, and other logistics.
• Curate personalized recommendations for social, cultural, and lifestyle activities.
• Gather and deliver customized information using Relocity’s software and Google GSuite.
• Coordinate and lead area tours, in person or virtual, with insights on neighborhoods and amenities.
• Facilitate ongoing communication via phone, email, video, or in-person meetings.
• Serve as the primary contact throughout the relocation journey, coordinating between clients, partners, and vendors.
• Efficiently manage multiple relocations at various stages with proactive follow-ups.
• Handle administrative tasks like updating client records and documenting key interactions.
