Job summary

Relocity, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Personal Host (Relocation Consultant) to guide employees through relocation. The role is 60-70% remote with 30-40% in-city client support, requiring excellent client relations, local knowledge, and meticulous organization.

You will coordinate housing, neighborhoods, and services, with a focus on white-glove, high-touch experiences and flexible scheduling to serve clients across Austin and environs.

Qualifications

• Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
• Must have at least 5 years of residency in Austin with extensive knowledge of the local rental market, education system, and local registration processes.
• Must own a reliable, registered, and insured 4-door vehicle with a valid driver’s license.
• Applicants should be able to commit at least 20 hours per week.
• Must be flexible to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with relocating employees.
• Provide expert guidance on neighborhoods, transportation and local culture.
• Conduct housing and school research to match client preferences.
• Assist with essential services such as DMV registration and banking setup.
• Curate personalized recommendations for social, cultural and lifestyle activities.
• Gather and deliver customized information using Relocity’s software and GSuite to create client reports.
• Coordinate and lead area tours, in person or virtual.
• Maintain ongoing communication with relocating employees via phone, email or video calls.
• Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the relocation journey.
• Efficiently manage multiple relocations at various stages.
• Handle administrative tasks including updating client records.
