Job summary

Relocity is seeking a Part-Time Personal Host (Relocation Consultant) to guide employees through relocation with high-touch support. This primarily remote role (60-70%) includes in-person client support across the city as needed, with schedule alignment to our flexible policy.

You will build relationships, advise on neighborhoods, housing, schools, and local services, coordinate tours, manage multiple relocations, and deliver tailored reports using Relocity’s tools.

Qualifications

• Must have the legal right to work in the USA.
• Minimum 5 years residency in New Jersey with knowledge of the local rental market.
• Own a reliable 4-door vehicle with a valid driver’s license for area tours.
• Avail at least 20 hours per week for this role.
• Must be available to work weekends.
• Friendly, outgoing, with strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Prior relocation or moving assistance experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with relocating employees and address needs and concerns.
• Provide guidance on neighborhoods, transport, and local culture for informed decisions.
• Conduct housing and school research including rental trends and school quality.
• Assist with DMV, banking, and other logistical requirements.
• Curate personalized social, cultural, and lifestyle recommendations.
• Deliver tailored client reports using Relocity’s tools and GSuite.
• Coordinate and lead area tours in person or virtually.
• Maintain ongoing communication via phone, email, video, or meetings.
• Serve as the primary contact throughout relocation, coordinating with partners.
• Manage multiple relocations at different stages with proactive follow-ups.
• Handle administrative tasks and update client records timely.
