Job summary

Relocity, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Personal Host (Relocation Consultant) to guide relocating employees through every stage of the move, from housing and schools to DMV and local services, with a white-glove touch.

The role is primarily remote (60-70%), with 30-40% in-person client support across the city. It requires strong local knowledge of the San Francisco Peninsula, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple relocations while using Relocity’s

Qualifications

• Must have legal right to work in the USA.
• Residency in the San Francisco Peninsula region for 5+ years with knowledge of local rental market and school systems.
• Preference for someone based in the Mid–Peninsula Bay Area—ideally Palo Alto to Burlingame.
• Must own a reliable, registered, insured 4‑door vehicle with a valid driver’s license.
• Available to commit at least 20 hours per week.
• Flexible to weekends.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Relocation or moving assistance experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with relocating employees throughout the relocation process.
• Provide expert guidance on neighborhoods, transportation, and local culture.
• Research housing, schools, commute times, and neighborhood suitability.
• Assist with DMV, banking setup, and other logistical needs.
• Curate personalized social, cultural, and lifestyle recommendations.
• Generate tailored client reports using Relocity’s software and GSuite tools.
• Coordinate and lead area tours, in person or virtual.
• Maintain ongoing communication via phone, email, video, or in person.
• Serve as the main contact between clients, partners, and vendors.
• Manage multiple relocations across stages with proactive follow-ups.
• Handle client records updates and documentation.
