Job summary

Relocity is seeking a Part-Time Personal Host (Relocation Consultant) to guide relocating employees through every stage of the relocation and deliver high-touch, white-glove service. This role is primarily remote (60-70%), with 30-40% in-person client support across the city, and requires strong local expertise in New Jersey and exceptional interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Must have legal right to work in the USA.
• Must have at least 5 years of residency in New Jersey.
• Must own a reliable, registered, and insured 4-door vehicle.
• Available to dedicate at least 20 hours per week.
• Must be flexible and available to work weekends.
• Prior relocation or moving assistance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with relocating employees and understand their needs.
• Provide expert guidance on neighborhoods, transit, and local culture.
• Conduct housing and school research including rental market trends.
• Assist with DMV registration, banking setup, and other logistics.
• Curate personalized recommendations for social and lifestyle activities.
• Gather and deliver customized information using Relocity software and GSuite.
• Coordinate and lead area tours in person or virtually.
• Facilitate ongoing communication with relocating employees via multiple channels.
• Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the relocation journey.
• Efficiently manage multiple relocations with organization and follow-ups.
• Handle administrative tasks and maintain client records.
