Job summary

NHE, Inc. is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Manager to ensure HUD and regulatory compliance across our property management portfolio. You will help develop and monitor company policies, coordinate regulatory inspections, and prepare reports for owners and regulators.

The role requires training staff on compliance, collaborating with the VP of Affordable Property Management and regional managers, and occasional travel to properties. Remote-based role with periodic site visits as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience interpreting HUD regulations and applying them to property management.
• Ability to review and implement regulatory policies across multiple properties.
• Strong coordination with compliance, property managers and owners.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and monitoring of policies and procedures related to compliance.
• Coordinate regulatory reviews and inspections with lenders, owners, and regulators.
• Prepare compliance reports and maintain management systems (SAMS/Yardi).
• Provide training to staff on compliance requirements and regulatory updates.
• Travel as required to on-site properties and regulatory meetings.
