Job summary

NHE, Inc. is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Manager to support policy development, regulatory training, and compliance monitoring for HUD, LIHTC, HOME and related programs. Travel is required to onsite properties; remote work is possible within SC/NC footprint.

This role supports the VP of Affordable Property Management and Regional Property Managers. The ideal candidate will have HUD/LIHTC/HOME experience, a valid driver’s license, and strong analytical and communication skills to prepare

Qualifications

• Five years’ experience in HUD, Rural Development, LIHTC and HOME programs
• Property Manager’s license or HCCP designation required
• Knowledge of apartment management laws and regulations (federal, state, local)
• Must have valid driver’s license or means of transportation for meetings/daily activities

Responsibilities

• Assist in regulatory compliance across HUD, LIHTC, HOME and program guidelines
• Assist Director of Compliance and RPM with staff training and development
• Prepare and maintain compliance reports and annual rent approvals
• Review and respond to compliance findings and audits
• Travel as required and supervise onsite staff when needed
