Biggs Property Management seeks a Compliance Manager to oversee affordable housing compliance across the portfolio, ensuring HUD, LIHTC, RD, HOME and related regulations are met. The role leads Compliance Specialists and Trainers, drives audit readiness, and partners with Operations, Ownership, and regulators.

The position emphasizes risk identification, timely documentation, and standardized procedures to maintain audit readiness and consistent standards throughout the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of affordable housing compliance experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in HUD, LIHTC, RD, HOME, and layered financing.
• Prior experience managing or mentoring compliance staff preferred.
• Strong audit response and regulatory communication skills.
• Proficiency in Yardi Voyager.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for all compliance-related audits, including HUD MORs, NSPIRE/HQS, state agency reviews, investor audits, and RD reviews.
• Coordinate audit preparation, documentation gathering, file reviews, and corrective action plans.
• Prepare, submit, and track audit responses within required deadlines.
• Monitor findings through resolution and prevent repeat issues.
• Directly manage Compliance Specialists and Compliance Trainers; assign workloads and supervise performance.
• Provide leadership in compliance reporting and risk assessments.
