Job summary

NHE, Inc. is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Manager to oversee HUD, HOME, tax credit, and related program compliance across properties managed by the company.

This role ensures adherence to federal, state, and lender requirements while coordinating regulatory reviews and reporting. The successful candidate will monitor regulatory changes, train staff, and support site teams with audits, inspections, and documentation, including move-ins/outs, recertifications, and interims.

Qualifications

• Experience in regulatory compliance for property management preferred.
• Ability to interpret HUD, HOME, and tax credit program requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and monitoring of property management policies related to compliance.
• Provide training to staff on compliance procedures and regulatory changes.
• Support Compliance leadership with audits, inspections, and reporting.
• Coordinate regulatory review schedules and maintain tenant file compliance for HUD, RD, and HOME projects.
• Prepare responses to compliance findings and communicate with Regional Property Manager.
