Job summary

Grundfos is seeking a Regional Sales Manager, Wastewater to drive regional growth for our aeration solutions in municipal wastewater applications. This role supports Newterra's sales team, managing manufacturer representatives and building strong relationships with utilities, engineers, and contractors across the United States.

You will develop regional plans, forecast pipelines, and guide projects from initial development through bidding and orders, with up to 30% travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in a similar industry with a proven track record of achieving results.
• Strong technical knowledge of municipal wastewater treatment processes, including mechanical aeration, SBR, oxidation ditch, and lagoon systems.
• Experience managing a Manufacturer's Representative network.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coach, and develop Manufacturer's Representatives to achieve annual sales and order quotas, including recruiting, training, and performance monitoring.
• Drive new business through prospecting, customer visits, and relationship management with municipal utilities, consulting engineers, and contractors.
• Lead sales opportunities from early project development through specification, bidding, negotiation, and fully executed purchase orders.
• Provide technical and consultative guidance on Newterra's mechanical aeration systems for SBR, oxidation ditch, and lagoon applications.
• Develop regional sales plans, forecast pipeline performance, identify market trends, and pursue new market opportunities.
• Serve as the primary liaison between customers, representatives, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are understood and met.
