Job summary

Grundfos, operating as Newterra Water Treatment USA, seeks a Regional Sales Manager, Wastewater, to lead regional sales for aeration products in municipal wastewater applications across the United States. You will manage reps, drive new business, and guide projects from development through purchase orders while providing technical guidance on aeration systems.

You will collaborate with municipalities, consulting engineers, and contractors, with 5+ years in sales and a strong wastewater process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Environmental Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in a similar industry with a proven track record of achieving results.
• Strong technical knowledge of municipal wastewater treatment processes, including mechanical aeration, SBR, oxidation ditch, and lagoon systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coach, and develop Manufacturer's Representatives to achieve annual sales and order quotas.
• Drive new business through prospecting, customer visits, and relationship management with municipal utilities, consulting engineers, and contractors.
• Lead sales opportunities from early project development through specification, bidding, negotiation, and fully executed purchase orders.
• Provide technical and consultative guidance on Newterra's mechanical aeration systems for SBR, oxidation ditch, and lagoon applications.
• Develop regional sales plans, forecast pipeline performance, identify market trends, and pursue new market opportunities.
• Serve as the primary liaison between customers, representatives, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are understood and met.
