Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas seeks a Boiler Regional Solutions Business Development Manager to drive growth with building owners and owner representatives across the Mid-Atlantic region, remotely. The role entails strategic sales, proposal development, and coordination with project teams to deliver boiler and controls solutions.

This position requires travel within the region, a proven history of complex B2B sales, and the ability to articulate financial value to executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent is required.
• 6–8 years of sales experience including 4+ years of people leadership.
• Willingness to travel.
• PE license preferred.
• PE license listed as required knowledge, skill, or ability.

Responsibilities

• Sell Daikin McQuay offerings to building owners and owner representatives at the C-suite level.
• Develop and implement sales strategies, including proposal pricing, delivery estimates, scheduling, and performance-based considerations.
• Collaborate with project managers, legal and accounting teams, engineering firms, and contractors to develop proposals and finalize contracts.
• Build and maintain relationships with key business stakeholders.
• Identify, target, and initiate contact with prospective customers and expand service agreements.
