Job summary

Sumitomo Pharma America, Inc. is seeking a dynamic Manager, Regional Sales – Specialty to lead a field-based team of 8–10 Territory Sales Managers across a defined region. The role drives regional budgets, growth strategies, and compliant operations to accelerate brand growth.

You will coach and develop sales professionals, analyze market dynamics, and align cross-functional efforts with national initiatives. Travel 60–80% may be required.

Qualifications

• A BA or BS is required.
• 4 years of pharmaceutical sales management experience is preferred.
• Top-ranked pharma performance (ideally top 25%) is required.
• 3+ years of Urology experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a field-based sales team of 8–10 Territory Sales Managers across a defined Region.
• Achieve and exceed regional sales budgets and objectives.
• Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligning budgets to opportunities for growth.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with Market Access, Marketing, Operations, HR, Training, Compliance, and MSL teams.
• Build relationships with providers and key thought leaders to stay aligned with market needs.
