Job summary

Ericsson is seeking a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) for the New Jersey Public Sector to drive sales within an assigned territory, delivering exceptional customer service and expanding Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions' presence through customer engagements and channel partner collaboration. This is a fully remote position with residency in New Jersey required.

The role requires a track record in public sector sales, familiarity with NASPO/GSA contracts, WWAN knowledge, and strong leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of full-time technical and/or carrier sales experience in the public sector.
• Strong track record of sales success in the public sector with a solid customer portfolio.
• Experience with NASPO, GSA, and other purchasing contracts.
• Knowledge of WWAN and telecommunications; private cellular networks and neutral host solutions preferred.
• Experience managing SLED accounts including state agencies, cities, counties, and education institutions.

Responsibilities

• Achieve assigned quarterly sales quotas through accurate forecasting, pipeline development, and closing business
• Develop and deliver a dynamic territory strategy driving customer expansion across WWAN and Private Cellular
• Leverage sales tools to build an effective prospecting plan and maintain visibility with existing customers
• Conduct weekly pipeline reviews with leadership to drive profitable growth
• Coordinate internal teams to meet and exceed customer expectations
• Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings in line with company standards
• Utilize CRM for all account management activities from lead to order
• Travel to participate in trade shows, events, and partner networking sessions
• Complete required training and compliance activities and adhere to company policies
